Subject:Audiophile 2496 and Sonic Synth

I just got the 2496 last week (yes I've got the latest beta drivers), everything seems fine unless I'm using the sample tank engine for midi tracks. My specific problem is that I get crashed out when I'm scrolling through the presets trying to audition sounds on the fly...

Can Anyone comment on a fix for this problem (other than using any of the other synths that I own--which all allow to preview on the fly...)

Be sure to use the 5.10.00.29x12 drivers, not the 5.10.00.31 drivers (which is considered to be the "consumer" driver).

Other than that, I can't exactly think of anything else. If no other synth is giving you the same problem, see if an update to SampleTank is available.

Thanks for replying...I've double checked and I do have the 29X12 installed, there also doesn't seem to be any updates on the IK site. I can duplicate this problem every time, we'll see what happens...
