I don't think you can do this in Acid directly. I think you'll need to open up the loop in something like SoundForge and reverse it there. If I were you I'd use 'save as' and save the track as another loop. You can then bring it into your mix right on top of the original loop and Acid will replace it. This will leave you with the original loop and a reversed one.

Hope this helps,

Chris

it has always struck me as strange that acid has never been able to reverse.

it should be able to reverse in real time since the audio is in RAM.

i guess nobody needed it bad enough to make a stink out of it.

Loops and One-shots smaller than 3 seconds or less playback from RAM only. The rest (Beatmapped and One-shots longer than 3 seconds) playback from the hard drive.

There was a reverse feature initially announced but was taken out. I honestly don't care myself; I'd rather use Sound Forge for the job.

Just in case you don't have Sound Forge and assuming that you're using Windows of some sort, you can reverse, echo, speed up/down and raise/lower the volume of .wav files in Sound Recorder.

I was told that the "reverse" function was included in a previous beta version but has been removed, due to technical problems, I guess.
Any new feature must be merged into the existing product. All other processing (envelopes, plug-ins, trimmer, ...) must remain compatible with the reversed sounds, and I guess it's not so easy to do.

You can do all pre-processing with SoundForge.
