Hi@all,

i dont no, what i can do ;-(
my system : WinXP Pro ,Athlon 1400, Terratec 5.1 soundcard and completly new drivers.
if i wsitch to surround mode or stereo there are no signal on my back and LFE channel, i think there is no seperated channels. What can i do ?????
I had the same probs with ACID 3.0.

The card in question has to have separate, discrete hardware outputs in order to use/implement 5.1 surround. Check out this KB article for more details.

(ACID 3.0 never had 5.1 surround features, BTW.)

youre right, acid 3.0 had not surround but i have the same probs. i have only a stereo output, so only 2 channels, but i need my subwoofer channel too.
the drivers for my terratec seems to be ok, no probs with other software like DVD.

If you only have stereo output - forget the sub. Or anything else. You need 6 channel output.

Can I know if the acid PRO 4.0 support hercules game theater 6.1 surround 5.1 channel. I have try using it but it just giving me panning effect like, if I pan it to fully 100% left channel it will comes out at left and surround left channel. And like versa to the right. If center speaker is selected then the left and right will do the job>? is that what it is to be 5.1 channel???? I am also using the analog out descreate stereo jack from my sound card to the amp. what is the problem,??
