Advice on fade-out in 5.1 ?

I'm mixing a piece of music in 5.1, with about 30 audio tracks including all individual drum sounds, multiple harmony vocals, lots of horns and everything. At the end of the song, I want the music to fade out over about 30 secs whilst the chorus is being repeated.

This used to be so easy in stereo, I just load the whole shebang into SoundForge, chop off the end, and fade out the last 30 seconds.

But how should I do this in Vegas and in 5.1 ?

I *can* apply envelopes to every one of the 30 tracks, but is there a more elegant way to do this?

Thanks for any advice,

If you hit 'B' on your keyboard Vegas 4 will show it's 'bus tracks' - the first one shown in a surround project should be called 'Surround Master'. On this track you can insert a single volume envelope which will control the 6 channel levels of the 5.1 bus. Add your 30 sec fade to this envelope.

You can add a volume envelope to the Surround Master. View -> Audio Bus Tracks (or just press 'B').
