Loss of clarity in bass? Help! -ACID Product Family

Subject:Loss of clarity in bass? Help! Posted by: jfunk82 Date:2/10/2003 7:25:56 PM Heres my situation: I've got a keyboard hooked up to record straight to digital audio. I record a bass line in Sound Forge- it sounds fine, just like when I play it on the keyboard. Then when I put it into Acid and loop the bass sounds really muddy and kind of wobbling like it went through some sort of wah effect.. it still sounds like the bass line but it loses all clarity and sounds muddy and just... kind of shitty.. I was wondering if anyone had experienced this or could help out at all? Thanks so much I really appreciate it!
Subject:RE: Loss of clarity in bass? Help! Reply by: suprox Date:2/10/2003 8:49:47 PM Its probably cause the bass is set to "loop" which time stretches it and therefore reduces its quality. Try setting it to "One Shot" and see if that helps.
