I know this user forum isn't here specifically for me, but danget I'm so close to where I wanna be...... A few more questions and that should shut me up for a few days. 1....I have 4 tracks that make-up the drums, those work fine.... So I run the guitar in and record an audio track, works perfect.... NOW, when I press the record button a second time to insert another guitar track it is for some reason re-recording my other 5 tracks as they play back on top of what I am setting there trying to do..... So then track 6 has everything combined (drums & 2 guitars)...... What setting am I over-looking? 2.....All the way around, I am only getting a left signal (left headphone speakers)... My panning is centered in both ACID & my Delta control panel. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch. Tommy |

Don't know about number 2, but for number 1, use headphones to hear/play along with already recorded tracks so your new recording of audio does not pick up what's already been recorded. That happened to me too:) |

ha!.. Well I figured my first problem out.... There is a particular input device setting for the sound card I am using that had to be chosen before it would work right.... All is good but jeeze! -- still no sound on my right ear! |

This is going to sound very dumb, and it probably is not your problem, but I'm going to mention it anyway just in case. When I first got my Echo Mia card, I was only hearing sound in one ear, too. I tried everything--$50 worth of different kinds of cables and splitters and such--and expressed my frustration a little more than I should have, probably, with the Echo folks. You know what it was? I didn't have my plugs well seated into my soundcard. That was it. When I really got them stuck in there good--I'm just very timid with hardware, it seems, afraid I'll break it I guess--voila! I got stereo sound, in each ear, like I was supposed to. And not just mono played to both sides; true stereo, like I was supposed to. So (also) be sure your connections are in there really tight! Dkistner - I double checked my plugs, I don't guess that is the problem...... I know its got to be a monitor problem because I burned a test CD and plays perfect in stereo... I dunno..... Once I figure it out I'll be sure post it.... Thanks much. Tommy |

Glad to hear you have problem 1 solved. For problem 2, how do you have your headphones connected? Even though the Delta 44 uses 1/4" TRS jacks for each input and output, it still treats each output jack as part of a stereo pair; outputs 1 and 2 are left and right, respectively. HTH, Iacobus |
