Subject:Using a POD into Acid Posted by: TommyTime Date:2/10/2003 1:35:44 PM Hello. For some reason I cannot get a full signal into ACID. I have a POD going straight into the Delta 44 and even when my output level on the POD is peaked I still only get about half way up the meeter in Acid. I get the same reading in the Delta (sound card) control panel. From my understanding the POD is also a pre-amp so its not like I don't have enough push behind it all... Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there some type of hidden channel I need to open up to get the signal I am looking for? -or is half way up the meeter good enough? Thanks much. Tommy

Have you tried a different instrument cable? (Get some rubbing alcohol and clean the plugs on the cable at both ends. Do this every few months or so as oxidation occurs.) HTH, Iacobus
