Which POD model are you using? (2.0, Pro or XT?) What's the output level on the POD set at? Be sure your Delta's 44 input is also up via the Delta Control Panel.

You should be able to get the signal hotter than that. Usually about -6.0 dB is ideal, especially if you're mixing the track with others.
