Subject:Acid 4/Gigastudio/Delta 1010. Help.

Launched Acid 4b from inside Gigastudio. I can't hear any midi notes when I hit my midi keyboard. When I activate "record" in Acid, I still can't hear anything but midi is recorded. Then I hit "play" in Acid and I can hear the recorded midi. What am I doing wrong?! Using Win XP.

it should be related to the way you connect GS and Acid.
I'll test my configuration tonight - quite similar to yours, except i have a Audiophile 2496 - and I'll let you know if it works for me.

Jam, your help is much appreciated but I found a solution. I think the latest 1010 drivers I downloaded hadn't fully become acivated with Acid. In case anyone else has this issue, you need to alter the following in the Delta 1010 panel:
1) Change Multi Track Driver devices to Independant
2) Enable audioapp use of Monitor mixer

It was like banging on the side of an old TV, causing some crackling and pops and then Giga and Acid started communicating properly.

Jayzon,
GS and Acid work fine together, except I found the same situation as you have. I just resintalled my computer this week end, after some big OS crashes and a long time without using GS within Acid. Now, i can't manage to play midi through acid, but only outside from GS (wave out in GS, not acid).
I have to test the "independant" feature of the driver, in the mixer, but it seems that Audio In selection in Acid is either not possible or aay from my eyes...
I'll continue my tests and will find out.
I'm not sure all is related to the Delta driver, i think it's correlated to Acid.
