Can I change tempo on one track instead of the whole project? Thanks for any input. Tee. |

One way you could do it is to start a new Acid project with the tempo you want for that particular part. Record your instrument or draw in your loop and then render it as a wav file. Next, edit the Acid properties in Sound Forge. Save it as a "one shot" and then drop that into your actual project. It should work just fine. I did the opposite on one of my songs in that I sequenced a keyboard, bass, vibraphone, and drum part on my Roland keyboard. I then recorded each part into Acid one track at a time. I saved THOSE tracks as one-shots at the tempo of the song. Next I added some sax, flute, and classical guitar loops at a faster tempo (the Acid project tempo in fact). The one-shots played at their original speed of 66 bpm, and the added loops played at the Acid project tempo of 116. If you want to hear how it came out, check out: http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=182957&T=1884 Good luck. HTH, Steve |
