Subject:beat(mapping) problem / Tempo problem

hey, I'm mainly using acid for the multi-track recorder (to make DJ mixtapes, etc) So, I'm using my turntables and directly recording into Acid. but, the problem I'm having is Acid re-adjusting the tempo for every new track that I record. (ex. I record track 1 as the beat and then I record scratches for track 2,track 3, etc... Acid is keeping the original tempo for track 1, but is adjusting track 2's tempo, so it gets more and more off-beat as the track progresses) is there any way at all to turn the beatmapper / tempo option off and just let me use the pitch from my turntables to adjust the tempo? or is there an easy fix for the problem?? please help, I can't seem to find the solution myself.. Thanks |

Try double-clicking the track's icon in the track list and select One-Shot as the track type under the General tab. One-shot track types are not stretched in any way by ACID. HTH, Iacobus |
