Subject:The results are in!!! Posted by: jeepman83706 Date:2/6/2003 8:16:19 PM Ok everyone...if you need a refresher, please refer to the "Oh...my...God" post and then read this one. If you remember about my crashing problems, you all have great memories! Anyway, I ran my RAM through some tests with DocMemory and it is completely fine. I did encounter the blue screen of death again in Acid and copied down the info so I can share it with you. However, I discovered something...crashing only seems to happen when I have some tracks already laid out, like a midi file and a drum loop, and then I try to add my audio track of acoustic guitar through the mic. Interestingly, when I record the audio FIRST before the midi's (but with the drum loop playing), everything works out fine and there's no crashing. So I guess my workaround is to have a loop playing, record my audio next, and then add in my midi's. I shouldn't have to do that, but it seems to work. Anyone have a clue as to why that is? If anyone is interested in what the blue screen of death says, i can type that in this post tomorrow. Thanks all for your help and input!!

Is it something else? This information will help you pinpoint the cause of the difficulty. Also, when you get the blue screen, does Acid shut down afterward? Or does it keep functioning normally? - Nick
