hello. I'm an acid newbie. Just have one question right now. How do I move a loop up and down the timeline. Edge shift moves the edge but not the audio itself. offset moves the audio data but not where the loop starts. Basically I just want to be able to place a small loop(like a drum hit or synth stab) wherever I want on the timeline. What I'd like to do is just drag that loop up and down the timeline until I find a place for it that sounds good to my ear which might be in between bars somewhere and not necessarily fall neatly on a sixteenth note division. I would appreciate any info or help I can get. Thank you. |

Try this: Click the audio event in question with the Draw Tool active and drag it around a bit; don't let go. Press and hold SHIFT on your keyboard. This temporarily disables snapping to the grid. (You can also zoom in and use 4 and 6 on your keyboard's numpad to nudge a selected event to the left or right pixel by pixel.) HTH, Iacobus |
