Subject:How to Record multiple tracks.

I have Acid 4.0 and when I go to record " to bring in vocals " everything works great, but when I hit Record again to lay a second vocal track, for some reason the second track has the first and second tracks vocals on it. I want two seperate tracks but the second one has both, anybody know how i can have two seperate tracks?

First, make sure you're using headphones, and not speakers.
Second, check your soundcard mixer's record/playback settings. Frequently, What U Hear settings, and the like can cause the audio to loop back around. Make sure that your record settings are just for your soundcard's input, and you should get a clean signal with no bleed.
