How do you use Chainer with Acid? -ACID Product Family

Posted by: dkistner Date:2/4/2003 4:41:28 AM I just bought Chainer, because it (running as a standalone) allows me (in combination with SoFo's Virtual Midi Router) to play/record VSTis right out of my scoring program so I don't have to go through the insanity of exporting/importing/tweaking midi in a sequencer. (For those new to this, like I am, it just took setting my midi output device in my scoring program to one of SoFo's virtual midi ports and setting Chainer's midi input to the same thing.) I can load Chainer (running as a VSTi) into Acid but I haven't yet explored all the things I can accomplish with it within Acid. I just wondered if folks who are using Chainer in Acid might share some of their experiences and discoveries. Diane
