Subject:update "D" freezes at start-up Posted by: sqig Date:2/2/2003 5:06:41 PM i've upgraded to "D" but the computer freezes when I start the program now.The task manager shows Its using 100% usage and that 99% of that is in the syscfg32.exe file.The original CD version still works when I re-install that.What do I do????

You can get more details here: http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/lolol.shtml You are going to need to do a little housecleaning on your machine to get it running smoothly again. If you are able you might want to consider formating and starting over. Excessive and annoying, yes. But if you are a regular Kazaa user syscfg32.exe may not be the only thing hiding on your system. It sounds like you have an original CD so do yourself a favor and download your updates from official sources. This will keep you from running into such problems.
