Subject:Clicks when auditioning wavs in explorer (3.0g)

I searched and found an old post re: this issue, and I have Acid Music 3.0g, but still, whenever I preview a loop (one of Sonic Foundry's own loops) in the explorer window, I get an audible (and annoying) click, right when I click my mouse on it and right at the beginning (and only the beginning) of playback. Same thing occurs when I use the arrow keys to move to a file and automatically preview it. I don't get this once the loops are on the timeline and playing them in the timeline.

WIN XP PRO, PIII 866, 512MB RAM, M-AUDIO Delta 1010 soundcard. Using 44.1 kHz and occurs no matter how large the latency.

Dan,

I have the M-Audio card as well, check this post I made a year back. The Delta Card was sharing the same IRQ as my video card I have, moved the card, and all was well.

Cheers

Thanks, KidBass. I'll start with your suggestion (although I loathe opening up my computer yet again!)
