Subject:Creating Loops for Protools

I am trying to import .wav files rendered in Acid over to Protools LE. For some reason, Protools keeps telling me that the .wav files are unreadable. Part of the problem might be that I'm using Protools on a Mac and Acid on a PC. Does anyone know how to create loops in Acid Pro and import them into Protools?

Have you tried AIFF format instead of WAV format?

For some reason the cd burner on my PC won't recognize AIFF files, so I haven't been able to import anything over to my Mac yet in that format. That does seem like the logical solution, though, and I will try to make it happen. Thanks.

I'm on PC
With a PT TDM and 001 5.3.1 and have no problems.
I render each track from Acid 4 (44.1/16bit at Unity)
and import them into Pro-Tools.

Try compressing them into a ZIP file before burning to CD and see if that works. (Be sure to have a compression utility on your Mac that can read ZIP.)
