When I try to open a file in Sound Forge 6.0d it freezez up,both if I use the drop down list or the folder icon and even the short command! Tried the 6.0b demo to, same thing happened. Else, everything else works and I can drag and drop a .wav-file and work with it!

What could be the problem?
Happy for reply on this!

The closest thing I have seen is in SF5:

Which OS are you using? If 2k or XP, have you turned any services off?

It has been working good and I haven't changed anything about services!
Strange thing too I can't keep my settings for soundcard and all other settings!
When I restart everything goes back to default and still can't open file!

Did you install the program under an administrator account and does your user account have persistent registry access? Preferences are stored in the user key in the registry and certain levels of access (e.g. Guest) wipe that key out when you log off.
