Knowbody, I posted a topic about vocal subtraction/reduction a couple days ago and you had asked me to be more specific. Braulio helped me with my question,but if you know of any other techniques or programs for doing this,please inform me.My question is...How do I strip out vocals from a single track where vocals and instruments are mixed.

It is relatively impossible. You can get somewhat decent results with analogX's vocal removal tool (http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio.htm )

Thanks Vanblah, sorry Nissan300zx, I wasn't clear what you were asking which was why I asked but I don't know any more about it than Vanblah outlined. But if I do discover anything, I'll post it to the forum.
