I've tried every possible combination but I can't get it to work. I have a Soundblaster platinum live sound card with win98se. I am trying to get Stylus to use it's groove control facility i.e print the midi info on the track and route it to the stylus sound output that matches it. At the moment it just gives me the drums rising in pitch. I can trigger drum loops of the stylus from my midi keyboard and record them but this is just like recording a wav loop from a drum machine. I have no midi control over the recorded piece. Can someone help me..... and how do I adjust the latency. the response seems a lot slower in Acid 4 than say Cubase which is also on my computer. Thanks in advance Marty |

If you're trying to facilitate Stylus' features while recording, check out this recent post of mine to see if that helps. Adjusting the latency is usually done by a soundcard's utility. I don't know where it is as I don't use a Sound Blaster. (Anyone?) You may want to switch to ASIO as your driver model rather than WDM (also known as MME and Windows Classic Wave), which is the default, though you can get a pretty good latency with WDM if you turn the playback buffering slider to a low setting. (You do all this under the Audio tab under Options>Preferences on the menu bar. Remember that when changing latencies, you should use the Advanced button under this same dialog.) HTH, Iacobus |

Hey - soundblaster live hasnt got asio drivers officially . But u can look for the KX drivers for the SB live to be able to switch to ASIO in ACID prefernces, although they ve been reported to crash Acid in some computers. |

Oh for the stylus thing - the note Stylus has as standard c4 is really an octave higher in Acid. Just transpose the track and u ll be up and running i guess |
