Subject:Soundforge 5.0 problem

I have intsalled 5.0 on my Win XP computer and every time I strat it up it shows the Suondforge banner and then disappears into the desktop not bringin up anything. I have installed the 5.0f update and it still does it. I cannot open the program. Any idea's?
