Subject:can't delete a stereo channel

I have a track with a good channel and a bad, incomplete channel. I want to delete the bad one and then use the good one to convert to stereo.

Apparently I can't delete the bad channel. I currently have SF 4.5h

Thanks for any help on how to do this

There are a couple ways:

a) select the bad channel, then do Process->Mute, then select the good channel, copy, select the blank channel, paste

b) using the status bar, convert to mono using only the good channel, then convert back to stereo and specifiy 'both channels'

At that point, you'll probably want to do a short single channel delay or use the graphic pan tool to spatialize the file a bit.
