Ok, this is probably in the manual and I'm just missing the obvious: When you go to add effects to a track and hit the Track FX button, usually the chooser/parameter window appears in the middle of the screen. I dragged it down a bit so I could see the waveform, not realizing that if you drag it down far enough, it places itself as the audio-plugin tab, like the explorer and chopper tabs at the bottom. Now everytime I hit a track fx button for any track, or in any other session, the plugin appears as a tab down low, and I can't figure out how to get it to just appear as a separate floating window again. The tab is ok, but if you want to adjust anything, you have to drag the window up high to see all the controls. The "view" dropdown menu has a toggle for audio plugin, but it just turns the tab on and off - I can't find a way to get rid of this preference and just have each option show as a window - can anyone set me straight? I'll just say "duh" in advance... AD in Canada |

grab the window at its upper left side (where the double border is) and drag it out of the bottom tab. |

Alternatively you can resize the bottom window so that it shows all the information in the properties window. When you want to see the tracks press F11 and hide all the tabbed windows completely. F11 brings them back again. I find F11 a great toggle switch. I much prefer having the windows docked to floating around the screen. Chris |
