Finally I'm ready to record from Phono to computer!! I know how to record, but after each track on the record, do I press stop, and then record the next track in sound 2? etc etc etc. til all 12 tracks are recorded? If so, then do I minimize each window, til I get done, then Max-up sound 1, for transfer to CD, then #2, #3 etc.??? This SF Deluxe came installed in my Sony Vaio, and with ZIP instructions, I've downloaded all the Help files, but for the life of me, I can't find how to do this?? SF 101, Sub-newbie question..Thanks...Greg |

You could do it the way you mentioned. If you're going to do that, under the record window make sure you have "create a new window for each take" selected in the "mode" drop down menu. Also using the same mode of recording you could just let the phono play and at the end of each song you could hit the "M" button on your keyboard which will drop a marker in the window, so you know where the start of every song is. From here there's many options once you're done recording. You could use the create and extract regions from markers options...but without going into that detail, you could simply select each song from marker to marker...once you have the entire song selected just drag the selection out of the window and it will create a copy of what you have selected into a new window. Now save it. Do this to every song and then use the track-at-once recording feature to put it on CD, in the other you want. |
