Refreshing the Explorer Window? -ACID Product Family

Subject:Refreshing the Explorer Window? Posted by: spectre1 Date:1/18/2003 4:34:30 PM Say I've got a CD already in my CD Rom drive while using ACID. If I stick another CD in that drive, ACID doesn't recognize it unless I close it and reopen. Is there a way to refresh the explorer without having to close and reopen ACID?

Acid 4 is much worse than Acid 2 at refreshing the explorer window. Acid 2 seemed to do it a bit more automatically, and was certainly faster. If I were you I'd consider getting a hard drive to keep your loops on. Exchanging CDs is very time-consuming. Better to copy all your loops onto a hard drive. Hope this helps, Chris

I just got a new system with a 120 gigs so I have no reason not to. I even downloaded a freeware sample organizer program, so I really don't have any excuse except that I've been lazy :).
