I find it hard to belive that S.F hasn't figured out yet the importance of being albe to pan effects...? I realize that one of the reverbs gives you a couple of panning options, but this is so limited...am I missing something here? Has anyone figured out a way to pan effects in Acid?????? |

Using ACID 4.0? View the Bus Tracks by pressing U on your keyboard. There should be a track for every Assignable FX in your project. Right-click the respective track and select Insert/Remove Envelope>Pan (SHIFT+P is the shortcut to toggle.) Add points and drag to your hearts content. And all that without ReWire!!! LOL sorry...sorry... HTH, Iacobus |

What a great idea - to be able to pan effects! I guess I still am a beginner..... Iacobus, I tried your method for a kick and snare track (seperate tracks going to Buss A). Panning the buss just sent them both over to the L or R side. The tracks to the buss were panned with the plugins/effects. What if I have a stereo snare track and want to apply reverb only to the right channel? The only solution I can come up with is to double the track, pan each track, then apply the plugin to only one of them. Streamlining would be helpful here. Fresnog |

Hi Greg, Try what I suggested earlier, but with Assignable FX instead of Busses. (They're different.) Use the Insert Assignable FX button, add the Reverb plug-in, adjust the parameters to your liking and then close it. You should notice there's a track now labeled, "Reverb," under the set of bus tracks. Add a Pan envelope and drag it 100% to the right. Go to your kick and snare tracks and route them to the FX number the Reverb is assigned. (FX 1, FX 2, etc.) When you playback, only the reverb should be heard coming out of the right channel.
