Hi, I'm using all three with no problems. on A4b and XP Pro.
I have a folder set up for every VSTi installed to save my patches in my Vstplugins folder. I have junglist folder with the bmp and everything that was installed and the same with Plucked String and Scorpion.

Hello George:

Just curious, do you have any problems with Absynth or crystal in A4b? I got some email from M-audio telling me the M-audio ASIO drivers have been having a problem with Acid 4.0.

Are you saying you put all your VST factory presets and new patches in the VSTplugins folder? For absynth I have the factory presets in the VSTplugins folder, but download patches and banks, new created presets etc are in a separate folder.

Hi L25,
I use Absynth 1.3.4 and I don't have any problems.(Win XP Pro sp1/MOTU&Echo/A4b)
When you install it should have created a folder in your C:\Program Files called Native Instruments. In side you should see Absynth and what ever NI product you own.
Its been awhile but I had Absynth before Acid 4 so I copied the Absynth.dll into my VSTplugins folder. I created a folder inside of the VSTplugins folder and named it Absynth and I put all of my Absynth patches (.glo) here. The reason I did that was to keep some kind of order inside my VSTplugins folder, so when I want to change patches of let's say Pro-53 I know where they are, If I have to rebuild my system or reformat my hard drive I can burn all of my VSTi Patch folders to a CDR. The only thing I see in my VST folder is the .dlls and a folder for each VSTi.
I have a friend (who I will leave nameless) who had ALL KINDS OF CRAP inside the VSTplugin folder .zips, .exes, uninstallers and some files that should have been installed in the Program Files folder and cried like a two year old because he couldn't load Native Instruments B4.(and Yes like a bumb-ass I cleaned it up so he would stop bugging the SH*T out of me) This is not the LAW it's just how I do it.
WE LOVE ACID 4!

Thanks George,

Maybe putting my .glo files in a folder>in my vstplugin folder might help, either way it makes sense from an organization/backup standpoint. I think it is delta ASIO-A4b issue, but then again if you can get MOTU to work on a PC then you can probably get anything to work ;^)

"Laughing" You are so right!
I think we've been lucky,
The Echo stuff is so cool, I picked it up when the Darla 20 was first released and its worked with everything we could throw at it. The MOTU can be picky at times but I like the I/O

It's alright chap's emergency is over apparently with the synapse vsti's you are not supposed to copy and paste the dll's from their original folder's (well that's what some guy told me on the Orion forum) well it's all working tickety Boo!

anyway thanx guy's......
