1. I've captured a wave file from a band tape but when I open it in sound forge, I notice that it is not centered on the Inf line you can have a screenshot at this address: http://www.ibelgique.com/angelsingles/sf.jpg Which filter can I use to put it perfectly on the inf line 2. I hear some noise on the band (like all basic band tapes). Which filter can I use to remove the noise caused by an audio band tape. I hope that my explanations are clear enough because English is not my native language. Thanks for your explanations. |

Use Process / DC Offset. The automatic detection and removal setting usually works very well. From the looks of it, you'll want to select each channel and process them independantly. If you have the Noise Reduction plugin, this works wonders on tape hiss and other noises. If not, try playing around with Graphic EQ and removing some of the very high frequencies, like 8KHz and above. |
