Subject:BPM per different track...?

This is probably the most stupid question ever asked, but its a real big problem..

I'll start..

I'm trying to make a combination of some home-made recordings with my microphone (.wav files) and some music (converted to .wav) When added to my project I put them in the tracks etc. Everything goes fine, but the BPM's per different file are different, I only know how to set BPM for the whole project, not per track..

Plz help me :)

I've just started working with my on loops, but I can tell you what I've learned so far. Then someone else will have to add to this.

Go to acidfanatic.com and get his loop calculator. You'll need it. Then in Sound Forge you need to add the acid toolbar. The tempo is set by the length of the loop. If you want the tempo faster you have to shorten the loop.

Would someone add to this?

I'm having the similar problem. I'm trying to match BPM's with several tracks as well. I'm working with Kick Drums, Bass Lines, Symbol Loops, Hand claps, etc...I still haven't figured it out. If you have any new info please share it with me. I don't think Acide 3.0 allows us to do that....I'm not sure.

What kinds of tracks are these? (In ACID, there are three types: Loop, One-shot, and Beatmapped.)

Loop and Beatmapped tracks will usually stretch to key and tempo if ACIDized, but first you have to make them that way if you haven't already done so. One-shots will never change key or tempo no matter what (which usually makes them ideal for voice samples and fast percussion hits).

Are you talking about the "Acid Loop Creation Toolbar" that's listed under SF's pref/toolbars menu...? and does that go for "un-acidized" as well..? otherwise what's the point with getting the acidfanatic.com app..? what's the advantage to what you already have with acid 4.0a...? isn't it redundant, or is it more 'user-friendly'..?
