Posted by: paulw9 Date:1/12/2003 7:41:57 AM When encoding a stereo AC-3 file, if I change the Data rate and the "Save data in Intel byte order" option to create an AC-3 file for Impression, I get an error that says "The custom template you have selected is not valid with the current project settings. It has been filtered out of the template list." This only seems to happen when there is a video track in a stereo project. If I remove the video track, or if I change the project type to 5.1, then the plug-in accepts the modifications. Also, it seems that the plug-in appends a space to the file name (before the extension) if you are replacing an already existing AC-3 file. Finally, I'm really hoping that DVD Architect is better than the current DVD authoring programs (like DVD Workshop and Impression) -- and that it's available soon ;)
