Does anyone know if SF & Amplitube are compatible?
I tried emailing them and finding something on their website but no luck.

VST and VSTi are not natively supported in Sound Forge.

You can use VST *effects* (not VSTi) in Sound Forge with a 3rd party DirectX-to-VST adapter. The most popular is probably the one from fxpansion (www.fxpansion.com).

Sonic Foundry ACID 4.0 supports VSTi.
