Good morning all. My question is why don't I see both the left and right channel LED's light up in the record window of Acid 4.0 when trying to record audio from my Roland XP-60 keyboard? I have my left output from the keyboard going into stereo aux 1 and the right output going into stereo aux 2 of the Omni. When recording, only the left channel signal is present. Thanks in advance.

peace,
Antonio

You are probably plugging a mono cable into a stereo jack, effectively grounding the right signal. Instead you need to use the line inputs, and pan one left and the other right, if that is possible. Either that, or use a single stereo cable from the headphone jack of the XP-60 to one of the stereo aux inputs. Remember that headphone output is much higher level than a line output, so watch the volume!

Thanks Braulio.....one more silly question for ya........the cable with one colored ring on its tip is a mono cable right? and the cable with two colored rings on its tip is a stereo cable? Please bear with me. Thanks

Yes. Another option: music stores sell "insertion" cables which have a stereo plug on one end, and 2 mono plugs on the other. According to the Omni manual, this will work.
