Does anybody know in AM 3.0g if you can create a metronome and also if you can set up a pre count to recording?

There isn't a built in metronome function, but you can create one easily enough using something like a snare hit. Once you have one created, you can paint it onto a track for as long as you need, arm another track for recording, start playing at the beginning of the project, and start the track recording at any point you wish.
