"SOFO: what were you THINKING with downtempo beats?" -Jacose

I was thinking of getting the Downtempo beats. The sample loops sound like something I could use alot. I'm more into ambient style music.
From Jacose's previous statement, he seems to indicate that he didn't find anything useful. Why? Bad recording? Something else?
Could you give me a more thorough review?
Anybody else have good/bad reviews?

Thanks for your time.

It's not a bad library. One nice thing is that it's divided into packets -- something I'm not always fond of, but here it could be called "kits" instead of packets, so you have the ability to mix and match beats with the same sounds. Not quite as complete as Mick, but more "techno/ambient sounding." I've used it on a few projects, and just the fact that it's grouped by kits makes it one of the first I'll go to -- as opposed to "Beats" folders that only have one or two patterns per kit.
