By purchasing this 5.1 plug-in for ACID 4.0b, does this grant one the license to put dolby digital logos on our DVD's? Are we entitled to use the dolby digital trailers on our discs? If so, where can we get them?

There are Dolby trailers on www.cinenow.com. Looks like they are PAL VOBs. Have no idea if they are legit or what. They may be rips from commercial disks someone has posted.

If you go to Dolby's website they will send users of licenced encoders trailers for their projects, there are a number or "terms & conditions" to agree to.

Does anyone know anything about the ability to use the "DVD Video" logo? Does one need to obtain approval for this as well? If not, where can I get the artwork?

Looks like the DVD Video logo needs not only a license, but verification and a big chunk of cash (more than you'll find under the couch cushions):

As I interpret the DVD Forum rules, the use of the DVD logo is permitted as long as the materials used (hardware, software and media) have all be certified by the DVD Forum and that are manufacturered by member of the Forum. The $10,000 membership payment and certification fees are only required of manufacturers and for each specification set of books.
