It's "negative" infinity dB ... meaning turned all the way down, ie. mute. |

It is "negative" or "minus" infinity dB... not simply infinity ... there is a minus sign in front of it. Just like when you reduce the volume on a track it usually says something like -16dB or -24dB ... the dash is not there for asthetics ... |
