4 out of 5 times i record anything (vocals, keyboard), as soon as i click START to record, it just locks up my PC. could it be that i have my Audio Properties set for 24bit/96khz? or might it be something else? my specs: Athlon 1.2gig 512 PC2100 ram 40gig 7200rpm hard drive Terratec EWX 24/96 sound card -Sin |

Highly doubt that. I record 24/96 all the time without any crashing. Try updating drivers for your soundcard and video card. Also try reducing video acceleration a bit. HTH, Iacobus |

have you tried turning off all applications that start up when you turn you're computer on. go to start menu/Run/MSconfig. There is a tab that says startup, turn off all applications except scan registry, task monitor and system tray. sometimes you can have a bunch of programs running that you don't even know about slowing down your processor. hope that helps you some. |
