Hi, Had a weird thing happen today. Ran Sonor set up a new project and enabled a few dxi synths (some were wrapped vsti's). Started playing external midi keyboard and saw midi activity but no output audio? Odd? Finally quit Sonor and ran Acid 4.0b. Loaded a new project and inserted SF DLS synth. Tested external midi keyboard. Heard audio. All okay. Quit Acid. Re-ran Sonor. New project. Load a synth. Now I hear audio from synth. I don't understand this. How is Acid affecting Sonor? I am also running M-audio's '29 drivers that were posted as non-beta, then pulled from their web. Is this an Acid, Sonor, or M-Audio problem? -CB |

I had a problem with the audio disappearing, but the mixer level meters still moving in Sound Forge. Odd behaviors (blue screens) in both SONAR and ACID with the .29 drivers. Funny thing is, they seemed to work great for the first week, before they started to give me problems. I went back to the ACID40Fix drivers and all is well again, in all of the above apps. My guess is, it is a M-Audio driver problem. Go back to your previous drivers and see if the problems still persist. That should answer your question. Billy Buck |
