I have sound Forge 4.5 & 5.0. I am wondering how I can add in tracks from '1' track. I have recorded an hour mix and it is under '1' track, I would like to be able to go back and ADD in extra tracks and to be able to seperate my mixes where I want to. Any help appreciated. Thanks! Insideus steve. |

Sound Forge is basically a mono/stereo audio editor. Sounds like you need a multitracking/mixing application. Try the demo of Vegas (don't let the Video monicker fool you...) http://www.sonicfoundry.com/download/step1.asp?CatID=1 HTH Erik |

I haven't done this in SF (I use Get It on CD) but the concept is probably the same. Look for a Slice setting. For example, in Get It On CD, I've imported a huge wav file of a mix music set, I then place the cursor at various places where I'd like to indicate a new track and place a slice marker. When I'm done the CD that's burned will have the track separation I was looking for. I bet SF has something similar. Mohsen |
