Acid pro 4.0,
I have made a music project from about 2 minuts with acid pro4.
But the file that I have renderd(.wav/mp3)
sounds totally different in the windows media player.
It is as if I put the bass and the treble very high in the wm player.
But I have set the equalizer to non/default,But this problem is not only with wm player, I have also tried playing the file in,Pinnacle studio 8,quicktime and others.
What I find strange is that, when I play this file in vegas video 3, or sound forge 6, it sounds normal,(the bass and the treble).
Ofcource I can put the bass/treble lower in my projects with filter, and buses,
but it would be nice when I hear my project as it is.
Otherwise I have to render it every time,
then play it in the wm player to hear if the bass is too loud.
It is, as if the sonic foundry programes has an Equalizer set to low bass and treble.

Is it possible that my sound card is not compatible?
I am using the sound card from my motherboard - Asus -P4b266
But before I hade the soundblaster pci64V from creative and had the same problem
My computer:
pentium 4
512 DDR

Please help,
thank you if you do so.

What are you playing through when you mix? You could certainly do better with your audio card. As for "listening," if you are running through any outboard gear -- mixing board, compressor, EQ, rack, etc. -- that may effect the "sound," remember that it won't translate when you "render." Render is all internal to the computer. If you are listening on a different pair of speakers than what you are mixing on, that will change the sound as well. Also, be sure you aren't choosing a compression below CD quality.

The mixinng and the renderd files are played through the sound card from Asus -P4b266 motherboard.
Do you recomend creative live 5.1?
But thank you for your help:-)
