I saved a ACID project in ACID 4.0, and I want to send it to a friend, but he has ACID 3.0, and when he tries to load it, this error appears: The file is most likely corrupted or of an unkown format. A chunk has an illegal length. The file loads fine in 4.0 though. Is there any way I can save the project so that it is 3.0 compatible? |

Sorry, but no. There is a way around this. You can save each track as a separate file when you go to render. However, the resulting files will typically be large depending upon the file format you choose (WAV especially). You could also simply render the whole project as one file and send your friend that as well. Again, file size is an issue. Finally, you could also export the loops in your project (using File>Export Loops on the menu bar). MIDI files, if any, will not get rendered. (You can get around this by bouncing the MIDI tracks down to digital audio tracks.) HTH, Iacobus |
