Subject:error box acid music 3.0 Posted by: moya Date:12/27/2002 3:37:41 PM i get a error box, stateing "an error occurred while starting playback. an invalid device was specified." can anyone help me with this or help me to find out what this means thanks

Even when I exited Acid and came back into it, I'd still get those errors. Drove me crazy. Then, in your Preferences, be sure you've got your audio and midi settings configured properly. I know, I know...I was completely bewildered by this, too. But when I posted the specifics here on what computer I had, what soundcard was installed, etc., people who are a whole lot smarter than me told me exactly what I needed to do to get it straight.
