I don't know if I phrased my subject correctly, but I'm wondering about the VSTi's in my Soft Synth Chooser. Is it OK to have them all available, or does this deplete unnecessary resources? Should I only have the ones I would like to use in my project available? Should I leave them unchecked in my VSTi preferences until I actually want to use them? Thanks.

spectre, I've got all the VSTis listed, with only those unchecked that I just never use. I probably have about 20 checked. I haven't noticed any problems. I don't know for sure, but I don't think they load unless you actually select them. Perhaps somebody else can give you a better answer...but I'm having no trouble keeping them checked. Less to have to think about.
