Subject:problem with tempo and samples acidmusic3.0

Ok I should preface this with Its my second day using the program. My problem is I trim an Mp3 to a certain length to use as a sample in my song(ie clint eastwood saying "make my day") and when I play it it sounds too fast(like alvin from the chipmunks) So to fix the problem I adjust the tempo but the the WHOLE song slows down. What do I do?

You need to make the file a One Shot - then the tempo of the song won't effect it. Not sure how to do it on an MP3, but if you have Forge, pull it in and change the Acid Properties to One Shot, then save it as a .wav"
