Subject:Acid 4.0b Midi Timing with Creative Audigy Plat.EX

Hi Guys and Girls.
Posted a notice yesterday regarding midi sync with v4.0a. found an upgrade (4.0b) but still cannot resolve the problem. As Girlio pointed out, I can confirm the audio timing in Cubase vst 5.1r1 is tight as it should be.
In the audio prefs. i set creative aiso to 4ms (2ms causes glitches). I put a tick in the auto detect and offset for hardware recording latency box and set user recording latency offset to -4ms by un ticking the auto detect and offset for hardware recording latency box changing it and re-ticking. No matter what i do the midi drops out of time everytime the song loops.
Have tried it with no tick in the auto detect and offset for hardware recording latency box, it seems better but still drops out at a similar point in the song. . . aaaahhh. . . somebody please help or just put me out of my misery !!

ive got an easy solution. take your Soundblaster out of your PC and return that "POS"!!!

Creative Labs knows NOTHING when it comes to making a quality sound card specifically for musicians.

I suggest getting a Audiophile 24/96 or a Terratec 6 Fire or EWX 24/96 sound card.

Both are MUCH cheaper than what you paid for that "POS" Soundblaster and are a TON better!!
