i downloaded sound forge6 demo , i think this is what i need in order to wright midi files to - it and then apply some filters to the midi files and export those to web page sound files , and flash also director 8.5, is there any one that can tell-me why i can`t do that or that just does not work with the demo version , i have midi orquestra plus and i can record from the organ to that program , and i like to know if possible if this does not work on the demo version , also if this is the right program for what i want to do , thanks again |

SoundForge doesn't edit MIDI files. You could record your MIDI output as a .WAV file and edit this in SoundForge, but it won't be MIDI anymore. |

thanks , but i still like to know if this is the program to import midi files from the sinthisizer and apply filters and save as mp3 or whatever export file maybe wav and what not, i tryed to import midi files from the sintisizer and i have no result , does this work on the demo version thanks , and let-me know becouse i need the right software package to do this and apply these sounds to backround music on web pages , flash and director 8.5 thanks so much... |

As Chien says above SoundForge does not support MIDI files only Audio. You will have to either connect the audio cable/s from your synthesizer to you soundcard's line in and record the audio into Soundforge then edit or play the MIDI files in a player such as Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc and record the resultant audio in SoundForge.
