simple border

How can I create a simple border of a cropped inset video image. the border plugin did not seem to "hug" the inset video. I just want a border on the video to distinguish it from the background

Can you give us some more information as to what you shot, how you shot it, when the banding occurs etc.

Hi oddboy,

You might try using Track Motion>glow to create your border... reduce the feather value for a hard edge. Or try the shadow...

you can also use the border track fx
make sure you place your cursor at the exact point when starting
then add you border
then move your cursor to your ending point
done
i use border sometimes--but i mostly use glow like marty described
