Suggestions for Midi Piano Roll Editor -ACID Product Family

Everything seems to reference bar 1 as a start position. This makes editing a bit of a pain. Additionally, I have been disappointed to discover that playback from a midi editor only plays the midi track in question. Again, this makes editing a chore as you can't hear your changes against the mix as you make them. I realize it's possible to start playback from the track window and then switch focus to edit notes, etc. Without a playback position cursor in motion in the editor, however, it's cumbersome to make changes in reference to the mix. Just a couple of my thoughts on the state of midi in Acid. Thanks for listening. LH
