No. There are third-party licensing fees to Dolby, plus R&D that needed to go into it. HTH, Joel |

I installed this thinking it was free to registered Acid users and got bizarre performance in Acid 4.0b. SoFo needs to change the plugin pack download links on the Acid update page to route people to a different page that makes it clearer that the plugin pack is not a part of Acid. Also, they need to change the "Sound Forge" reference under downloading the patch to "Acid Pro"! :) |

I would concur that that download page for 4.0b needs to be specific that the 5.1 plug in download is a waste of user's time if they do not plan on paying for it ($279). It is a bit misleading. This is not to say that it is not worth the money for those who use it. |
